If you’ve been to our office, you’ve probably seen Mike walking around and wondering what does that guy do all day? He sucks at scheduling appointments and if you’ve had the unfortunate experience of him assisting, you’d know he sucks at that too. Most days we wonder wonder what’s going on in his office too, but the truth is Mike stays pretty busy making sure everything runs smoothly. He fixes dental equipment, cleans toilets, he’s our in-house IT guy and graphic designer, he spearheads our Fills Good program, and so much more. In addition to his commitments to Dee for Dentist, Mike is actually spreading his wings to help other dental office mangers locally and around the country.

A couple years ago, Mike won a scholarship to attend the American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM) annual conference. Since then, he has become an active member of that organization by founding a study club chapter for local office mangers. And as if that wasn’t enough, Mike has started guest writing and blogging for various print and online publications. His most recent article was posted in the Winter 2016 edition of The Observer – an AADOM magazine.

Titled: Dental Office Managers: CEOs of the Dental World, Mike highlights how important the dental office manager position really is and how it can be taken to the next level. When we started Dee for Dentist, Mike initially came on to help and we both never really knew if it would be a permanent position. Fortunately, I think Mike has finally found his calling and I’m glad it’s here with us!
