Late this past Sunday I got a text from one of my sorority sisters who works for a movie studio that asked if we wanted to attend the red carpet premier of the new Jason Bourne movie. I believe my response was “Of course!!!” So right after work on Monday, Mike and I got all dolled up and headed over to Caesars Palace. Feeling like superstars, we had fun taking pictures and being generally ridiculous on the red, or should I say black carpet. Uninformed of our attendance, the press corp were not prepared with any dental questions for us.  Oh well.

After working the carpet, we headed into the theater, grabbing as much free snacks as we could and found our seats inside the Colosseum. Our seats were off to the side but we got a great view of Matt Damon and the rest of the stars walking in for their introductions which was fun. I can’t believe it’s been almost 10 years since the last time Jason Bourne was on the big screen! The movie wasn’t the best in the series but still great as far as action was concerned. The final car chase down Las Vegas Blvd. at the end of the movie made the Strip feel like it was 50 miles long, but when it finally crashed into the Riviera, it was nice to see that casino packed with people again! ;-p

After the movie we had a couple more celebrity sightings but we were too hungry to stick around so we headed over to to one of our favorite late night spots, Kushiyaki Inyo. As always, the meal was fantastic and a great way to end the evening.

Thanks much to my team for letting me get out of the office on time and to my sorority sister, who shall remain nameless, for hooking up the tickets!
