Enthusiastic, compassionate, and dedicated, our head dentist Dee Dee Meevasin, DMD, founded Dee for Dentist in Las Vegas. Dr. Dee Dee offers comprehensive dental care using the latest technology so she can give patients comfortable, convenient, and effective care. Some of the many services available include same-day CEREC restorations, cosmetic dentistry treatments, implant dentistry, Invisalign®, oral appliances for sleep apnea, and much more.
Dr. Dee Dee was drawn to dentistry early in life. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Irvine, in Irvine, California, and then realized her dream of being a dentist at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Dee Dee’s goal is to have a truly patient-centric practice. She uses the latest dental equipment and systems, including CEREC® from Dentsply Sirona, OptiSleep® oral appliances, HealthyStart™ myofunctional therapy appliances, iTero® for Invisalign planning, OperaVR™ virtual reality to replace nitrous oxide, Axeos® cone beam computed tomography for advanced airway analysis, OralID™ advanced oral cancer detection, guided dental implant surgery using Straumann® dental implants.
Dr. Dee Dee has been a CEREC mentor since 2013. She regularly volunteers her time in the local community through Team Smile®, Smile it Forward, and Freedom Day. She’s also the director of the Fills Good Program at Dee for Dentist.
Dr. Milan Montero works with patients to identify existing oral health and esthetic concerns and to create a plan to address their goals, treat oral disease, and help them maintain a healthy oral environment through preventative care.
A Las Vegas native, Dr. Montero attended the University of Nevada, Reno, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology before returning to Las Vegas for her Doctor of Dental Medicine through the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine.
A member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry and the American Academy of Clear Aligners, Dr. Montero is one of the first and most experienced dentists to use the Solea laser to perform anesthesia-free fillings in Nevada. She focuses on addressing each patient’s needs by utilizing the most updated tools and technology to deliver the highest quality of care. Dr. Montero has obtained a double certification in laser proficiency to treat snoring, tooth decay, periodontal disease, canker sores, cold sores, gingival pigmentation, and more.
Working in the dental industry since 2011, Dr. Montero has gained experience as a dental assistant, tutor for dental students, and a general and family dentist. She is an expert in providing comprehensive care including addressing and evaluating the root cause of pain and sensitivity, restorative treatment, laser dentistry, clear aligner therapy, and decay prevention. Using Healthy Start appliances and technology, Dr. Montero also works to ensure children have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential with proper growth and development.
Dr. Montero loves to help her patients achieve all of their smile goals while treating them the way she would take care of her family. An active member of the community, Dr. Montero continues to support Future Smiles, a nonprofit organization that provides vital oral health care to underserved children throughout Southern Nevada.
When not in the office, Dr. Montero spends time with her husband and enjoys watching Korean dramas, listening to music, and trying to eat her way around the world.
Dr. Ana Hu brings a unique blend of expertise and passion to Dee for Dentist. Originally from Taiwan, Dr. Hu attended San Francisco State University and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine.
Her professional journey began in the dental field in 2015, initially as a dental assistant and receptionist in San Francisco before relocating to Las Vegas and transitioning to her current role as an Associate Dentist. Her typical workday involves a meticulous blend of patient care, consultation, and treatment.
Dr. Hu’s focus remains on her patients’ well-being, embodying a philosophy centered on empathy and informed decision-making. Her accolades include receiving a UNLV Dental Student Award from The American Association for Women Dentists.
Committed to giving back, Dr. Hu actively participates in charitable initiatives including the Remote Area Medical’s annual free dental clinic in Pahrump. Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Hu’s interests extend into holistic wellness, where she serves as an expert in maintaining a balanced lifestyle, offering guidance on nutrition, moderation and positivity. In her spare time, Dr. Hu practices yoga and aerial fitness, and enjoys exploring the outdoors and the vibrant food and beverage scene in Las Vegas.
